What is direct billing?
Direct billing is when you have third party benefits and we are able to submit an insurance claim on your behalf. Typically you acquire third party benefits through your employer and you may be covered under your partners plan. When we successfully direct bill for your appointment, the insurance company pays our clinic directly. This means you do not need to handle the insurance claim process yourself. In short, we save you time and effort.
We direct bill to most major insurance carriers such as:
- Canada Life
- Sunlife Financial
- Manufile Insurance
- Chambers of Commerce
- Pacific Blue Cross
- Medavie Blue Cross
- Green Shield Canada
We are also able to direct bill the First Nations Health Authority.
If you do not see your insurance carrier on this list that does not mean we will not be able to direct bill. Just bring in your insurance details and we will assist you the best we can.
